The music and lyrics of George and Ira Gershwin includes some of the finest popular and orchestral music ever written. Many of their songs are instantly recognizable and a part of our American culture. This show will include many Gershwin favorites, including Porgy and Bess, An American In Paris, The Man I Love, Strike Up the Band, I Got Rhythm, S’Wonderful and many more.
Entertainers Michele James and David Pruyn share their dynamic talents and terrific song styling, mixing poignant ballads, bouncy show tunes and swinging standards. Popular performers at Disney World, Busch Gardens, and on major cruise lines, their list of credits include Broadway shows, concerts, television appearances, and performances at the White House.
Tickets are $15.00 for open seating at the Center for the Arts at River Ridge. Show time is 3:00 p.m.
